As I am getting closer to my trip to Delhi, I have started to keep my camera inside and just relax at the places I am going to. Humayun Tomb, can been seen inside out in like 20 minutes but I spent like 2 and half hours over there with my earphones plugged in and a kindle in my hand. Sometimes, it’s better that way. Btw, Humayun’s Tomb is the inspiration behind the iconic Taj Mahal’s design.

I love silhouettes, and keep trying my hand at capturing the silhouettes of various objects, this one being a wooden giraffe figurine that I placed in my balcony.

Crowded Delhi train station I saw this guy dressed in all red. I ran through the crowd to snap him whilst he was walking. He wouldn't stop for me.

This is one of several interior corridors of Red Fort in Delhi, India on a very hot morning. The passageways were large to accommodate horses and carts in case of an emergency. The surrounding people would flee here in times of danger. It could hold 2,000 people. Its made of sandstone.

Qutub Minar was built in 13th century and this red sandstone tower of Qutb Minar is 72.5 m high, tapering from 2.75 m in diameter at its peak to 14.32 m at its base. One of my favourite pics. The designs used are worth appreciation. How many stories are hidden in there?????

Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace), is so named, since its reflection in the surrounding reservoir looked like a ship floating on a lake. It is inferred to have been built during the Lodhi Dynasty (1452–1526) as a pleasure resort.

The more I see of deer, the more I admire them as mountaineers. They make their way into the heart of the roughest solitudes with smooth reserve of strength, through dense belts of brush and forest encumbered with fallen trees and boulder piles, across canons, roaring streams, and snow-fields, ever showing forth beauty and courage.
